AirTruth terms of use
Last updated: 29 October 2026
What AirTruth is
AirTruth is a free air quality app for India, made by AYERIQ AI LABS. It shows readings from public monitoring networks, computes the Indian National AQI from them on your phone, and gives general health advice for each level. By using the app you agree to these terms.
The data
The readings come from OAQ, India’s Open Air Quality Platform, and the networks it brings together. OAQ publishes them under the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence. So you may share what the app shows, with credit to OAQ and its networks, but not for commercial purposes, and anything you build from it must carry the same licence.
No warranty
Readings can be late, missing or wrong: a monitor can go offline, report a fault, or sit far from where you are. AirTruth shows the latest 15-minute readings, not CPCB’s official 24-hour average, so its number can differ from other sources. The app is provided as it is, without any warranty, and AYERIQ AI LABS is not liable for any loss that comes from relying on it.
Not medical advice
The health advice in AirTruth is general guidance, taken from CPCB’s health statements and the MoHFW air pollution advisory (2024). It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor. If you have a heart or lung condition, are pregnant, or care for a child or an older person, ask a doctor what is right for you. In an emergency, call 112.
The app’s code
AirTruth’s code is MIT licensed (see Licences). The app also includes open-source software under its own licences, and lists each library with its licence under About → Open-source licences.
Your data
What the app keeps and sends is set out in the privacy policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
